[Docker] Cannot connect to the Docker daemon at unix:///var/run/docker.sock. Is the docker daemon running?

원래 잘 작동하던 docker에서 docker container가 모두 사라지는 현상이 발생했습니다! 그래서 저는 docker를 새 버전으로 설치하고, docker container를 만들거나 docker 명령어를 입력하였을 때, 다음의 에러가 발생했습니다.

Cannot connect to the Docker daemon at unix:///var/run/docker.sock. Is the docker daemon running?

두 세번 다시 설치해도 동일한 증상이 나타났으며, 아래와 같이 대처하니... 해결이 되더라구요! 이런 현상을 겪는 분들 모두 해결 되시길 바랍니다..!!

1. Docker 관련 서비스 모두 종료

sudo systemctl stop docker
sudo systemctl stop docker.socket
sudo systemctl stop containerd

2. damon.json 파일 확인

/etc/docker/daemon.json 경로의 json 파일에, "data-root" 부분이 사라져 있다면 아래와 같이 넣어주자!

3. Docker 서비스 재기동

sudo systemctl start docker
